hi

i have my passport 500 gb.
until yesterday it worked just fine and than stop being recognized on my pc.
i have cheked also on other computer same problem.
when i plug the usb cable he is makin regular noises of hard drove work
but bot recognized on my computer.
after i pull the cable out than he writes me that i need to do a format berfore i use him.
1. i afraid to do format because i got importent stuff overthere.
2. even if i want to do format i cant.

help me please

i've installed the program
but still it's saying that i got no data on it
and it is not responding at all..
it's really weird because the hard drive had been 100 % 3 days ago and he's been safe all the time.

how can i replace it or something??
i really need him for my work

replace what ? Did you try another USB cable ? does it show up in the BIOS when the system is powered on and the drive attached ? The WD passports have bad problems with the USB connector that is the culprit most of the time

yes i've tryded another usb cable also
same problem
not recognizing him..
