3 weeks ago my laptop was overheating and would turn off after about 8 minutes from a crap load of dust blocking the heatsink. So I took apart the laptop and cleaned it out. And my wife and I have been using it everyday with no issues. But today my laptop just shuts off a minute after turning it on. Doesn't even get into windows or safemode. I went into system bios and even after a minute in there it would shut off. Tried using only a battery same thing, tried only a powercord same thing. I'm thinking the lcd screen cable might be loose but would that cause the computer to shut off completley. Any ideas anyone
