Hmmm Where do I begin. Ok I own a Dell inspiron 1501.
It connected to my router fine wirelessly for the
longest time until about a month ago. I did some troubleshooting and
tried to repair the connection first and It told me that it couldent find or
renew my IP address which I thought was strange so I opened cmd
and ran ipconfig and there wasen't anything there.. It was 0.0.0.0
So I did a full format and reinstall hoping maybe that reinstalling the OS
would correct whatever problem the laptop was having. It diden't
I still have the same problem. How can a laptop have no IP address??
So anyway I would like to fix it because I don't wanna buy another one.
Im just boggled beyond words.... I thought I could fix it but I guess im not as
smart as I thought I was.... Its got Winxp sp2 installed.. I even connected it
to the cable.Just the cable modem and the laptop. And that dident work.
Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance.
