Hi everyone, first of all I would like to apologise for my lack of computer knowledge. If I have not make my problem clear enough, please let me know.
ray:
I have a Packard Bell MC 6112 and running on Window XP. It has 2 slots (bottom and top). The top one (the D: drive) is not working anymore for some reason. Everytime I slot a disk in, maybe it be a game, DVD or CD, I go to Start --> My Computer --> DVD drive (D
--> Right-click it and select 'Open'. After about 5-10 seconds, message pops-up "Please insert a disk into the D:." I could see the light in front of the drive slot blinking and I could also hear a clicking sound coming from the drive. But miserably it fails to open. :upset: I don't know if this help, when I right-click it and select 'Eject', it ejects the slot like normal. Any suggestion??? Really appreciated.
At the moment, I'm using the bottom slot (E
to play my CDs but it doesn't always work with every CDs but it burn perfectly tho. Thank you guys in advance for any comments.
