Sometimes when I shut down my computer it turns back on a few seconds later. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong? I guess its better than not being able to turn my computer ON, but this is so annoying! It doesn't happen every time I turn my computer off, but most of the time (strangely, always at night).

Could it possibly be a result of inadvertently clicking on the restart button as opposed to the shut down button?

I'm definately not clicking the restart button.

What do you mean the power supply, what could be wrong?

It could also be BIOS settings as some systems can restart from mouse movements and/or keyboard strokes.
