My computer is experiencing a few major problems. The first problem is that my computer refuses to download most files on the internet. I can download a few but not a lot. Unfortunately I was unable to download the DDS so I can't attach that. I was however able to get gmer and I'll attach that file. In this case, this is a huge problem for me. The second problem would be that when I connect to an internet search, regardless of which search engine or internet browser, I am almost 99% changed to a different and completely unrelated site when I click on the link. I've looked at similar problems but I wasn't able to do much. Before I decided to seek help, I did format my computer and reinstall windows but that seemed like a bad idea and it didn't fix the problem. I have tried multiple attempts to get rid of this problem through the use of AVGfree virus protector, Autorun Eater (Which fixed my other problem with the recycler) and Combofix. None of them seem to work. Also, I have an external hard drive, will that be possibly infected if it is also connected to my computer somehow?

P.S. I have also included the COmbo fix stat thing.

Blue Screen Virus?

I have a few problems, I'm not sure if it is a hard ware or virus problem.

1st problem - My computer will make a weird beeping noise every once in a while that sounds a bit disturbing.

2nd problem - When I start up my computer, there are a lot of dots all over the screen.

3rd problem - On occasion, when I take my power cord out or if it fell off and I plug it back in, my computer slows down or freezes until I take the cord out.

4th problem - I occassionally get a blue screen that claims that I have a hardware error but dell claims that it is a software error. I have also done a hardware scan and it detected no hardware error.

5th - When I go do a search or type in an address, it occasionally says that it can't find the webpage or it transfers me to a completely different site.

6th - I recently had a problem with the recycler error but I think it is resolved now.

7th - I can't download certain items from the internet.

Some of them could be an error in hardware but it would help to know if some of these are viruses.

Uninstall VirtuaGirl HD
after that ensure its folder is deleted C:\Program Files\vghd
Post or attach the gmer ark log as mentioned here

Im curious why avg was uninstalled ?
Next step included installing an antivirus program
antivir, avast or avg8 are free to home users.

Let us know if the PC is better afterwords.

My internet browser (yahoo, google, ect.) still brings me to unrelated sites when I click on the links they provide. I also can't download certain things and it will bring up a page saying that they cannot find the server. Things that I couldn't download so far include (VLC Player, Windows Live Messenger, yahoo messenger)

Have ou ever had to turn off flashget to download items ?
It can interfear with some downloads.

Do you have a router ?
If so what brand and model ?

Also, I have recently obtained a new motherboard and harddrive, however, the internet problem is still there as well as the download problem.

And flashget is gone.

If you have never changed the password and name in that routers settings
While the PC is off and routers power still on find a small pinhole on the back
stick a paper clip in it which will reset it.
unplug your modem and routers power supply wait about three minutes and plug them back in and turn the PC on, once windows is loaded go into the routers settings page and change the name and password.
