i put this in the wrong place for posting for my last one, i think.

My laptop has a problem that no one has been able to fix. My wireless adapter will not work some times(well alot of times when i want to use my computer) and instead says it only has an ethernet cable. Which its not, also it will not show that i have my wireless adapter. and also instead it says virtual adapter. When this is happens it seems like other things on my computer wont work right or at all and also it seems like it effects everything. My laptop is a A Inspiron N4010. Right now it may completely work but in a day it wont.(it seems like it fixes its self) Ive already gone to other people with this question.

Uninstall the wireless driver/software from Control Panel > Uninstall a Program

Install the driver from the Dell Support site.

What other problems that do you have when this happens? Specific please.

Is this laptop still under warranty?

Ive already tried that with dell when i first had this problem. The sound will not work, the usb ports (i dont know what u call them but you get what mean) will not work. slow computer will have things not responding alot, when normally my computers fast and works fine. My warranty was useless i talked about possibly exchanging the computer back in with dell but they said it didn't cover that.
