Hello and Welcome to TSF!

Do you have enough RAM (memory) in your computer?
i have 1 gb ram , duel processer of 2 ghz
1gb may not be enough. I would try upgrading your computer's RAM up to 3gb. When someone is trying to access your program you may check the Memory Usage in Windows Task Manager in Processes Tab. Locate the Application that's being used and it should be able to tell you the Memory Usage.
is not abt the acessing the program..my computer hangs when someone open a folder too. it happens abt once per day..when it gets hang and then i reset it..after that it works..
Sounds like you have a problem with the basic Windows installation, not so much a networking issue.
.......or can be hardware if it hangs. Any type of errors that you're getting?

For now try to do sfc /scannow. Open a Command Prompt, type the following command and then press Enter. Have your XP CD ready.

sfc /scannow

Please give us an update.
