My car wont start, possibly faulty battery?

I bought a Y reg Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique recently and it wont start up. I drove it home after i bought it and parked it up outside mine, i turned the engine off but forgot to turn the lights off, when i come back out of mine (1min later) i tried to turn the car back on but it was just making a clicking noise. The windows take AGES to wind down as well. I checked the battery to make sure the wires aren't corroded and to make sure they are secured tighly and after doing this the car doesnt start at all now. The car has been sat at the sellers front drive for around a month. Does this sound like a battery problem? any information would be highly appreciated!!

The battery is dead, replaced it and have your alternator tested.
Yes. My car had the same problem this month. I did a quick 90 sec battery boost with my black and decked battery helper and took it immediately down to my jiffy lube and got a brand new battery. It didn't take longer than 20 minutes so you shouldn't be hard pressed on time. Good luck.
My guess is a bad battery if it died after 1 minute and the alt is probably gone or going.
