My external WD HD 1tb was perfectly fine, until randomly, one day it refused to read.

when i clicked the drive it said
"You need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it"
i have windows 7 and i tried on different computers which also have windows xp.
i do not want to format because there are important files in there.

when i clicked the disk management, my WD HD said
Layout: Simple
Type: Basic
File System: RAW
Status: Healthy (Active, Primary Partition)
Capacity: 931.51GB
Free: 100%
Fault Tolerance: No
Overhead: 0%

i googled it but didn't find the answers.
There are alot of data in here that i saved up for years so format is not an answer :(

please help me asap.
help will be REALLY APPRECIATED
Thank you.
