What are you using to play them? Windows Media Player, you could have a bad driver or another program interfering, did this start occurring after you installed any other thing? The media player has a troubleshooter listed with the Help on its toolbar. Need to know what is playing the files. Hope that helps, or give more background info.
Im having the same problem. If I reset my computer a few times it will eventually play at the correct speed, but its a major pain in the ***. In my case, the files are being played with Windows Media Player. I've been told that its probably a problem with a codec, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
edit: i just realized how old this thread was, lol. probably no help here eh.
