Hi, I would liek to know if it is possible to add 2 or 3 or more gigabit network cards to one windows 7 machine for better speeds and performance. They are going to be used to server up over the network virtual machines to multiple thin clients... is this possible to have multiple cards act as one network please?

Many Thanks

You can do adapter teaming but it requires a switch that supports one of the teaming protocols.

This results in 4gig up/down bandwidth per team. I have found one team to be sufficent for our enterprise per server.

You should research your network cards that they support adapter teaming before you buy them. The manufacturer also supplies the teaming software/drivers.

Just adding cards and assigning ip addresses doesn't do it.
