What errors are you seeing? I doubt it's a multiple firewire issue. More likely is the app you are trying to use for recording doesn't support multiple cams.

I have a pc that came with multiple firewire cards installed. I'm trying to connect 2 video cams and record simultaneously. However I can't get both to work at the same time. I've found many posts online in various forums about this but haven't found any solutions. Has anyone used multiple firewire devices before?

When trying to connect a 2nd firewire the software just won't recognize any firewire device. I even tried using 2 different capture programs on different windows accounts. Still nothing. Not a huge deal. I've just purchased a 2nd desktop to handle the 2nd feed, just would have been convenient to have 1 desktop do 2 jobs.
