MSN Problem

Not sure if this is the right section, but anyways.

Right as you all know MSN is being a **** lately.

On MSN 7.5, my emotions wont work, their showing, but when i hit enter when talking to someone, then come up as symbols as in this ": ) to mean this " etc

I have un-installed it three times and did a repair on it too.

So I thought ok, msn is being annoying, I'll download Windows Live Messenger. Well, still not working.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

I have ran spyware and ad-aware and AVG on my pc just encase it was some virus melting my head.
