I'm desperate! I accidentally changed something in my MSDOS's Setup to detect a CDROM drive that doesn't exist and I can't get back into the setup to change it because it won't progress past the CDROM/HD detection screen... T_T Please... someone help me!!

The files you want to modify are called Config.sys and Autoexec.bat.

Just REM out the lines that are used to detect the cd-rom.

Better yet, you can download ms-dos boot disks online (do a google).

Problem is... I can't even get windows or anything to start... it stops at the screen where it checks for my computer memory when I boot up the computer. I am currently on another computer... my own one can't get into windows.

Sorry, I thought you were running MS-DOS.

If your not then it sounds like you modified the BIOS.

You should be able to get into the BIOS setup by hitting DEL during the boot process (normally just after you turn the PC on, it should tell you on-screen).
