Hey there,

I had MS Outlook 2007 installed with MS Office 2007 on my laptop running Win XP SP2. I had a lot of emails stored in outlook but I did not make a recent backup. A few days ago I got a hardware error and had to make an unsafe shutdown. This caused parts of of the file system to get corrupted and the windows wont start. I need to apply my recovery CD, which will reinstall the image, thus I will lose my emails.

I have Linux on the same machine and I am now able to access my files on the C drive. I can copy all my program files and everything.

My question is, is there anyway to recover my emails by copying the files in the outlook install directory or wherever it has the emails installed and then somehow use them again to recover my emails?

Thank you all.
