Good morning...I am trying to reinstall Office 12 from the hard disk of my fried laptop to a desktop I am using temporarily (I do not have the disks). When I click the Setup, I get the splash screen and then the following message: Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run setup again from the original source disc or download location

...so what is the file I should be looking for? I am "on the road" and do not have the source disks. Can anyone help me out of this situation?

Hey btmill,

No telling which file it is. I'd run by a local repair shop or the such and see if you can borrow one of theirs. As long as you use your own key, I don't see what the issue would be.
