Just got a 64 bit Windows 7 PC. I have a 32 bit XP PC with 2nd SATA HD for file storage. Can I just install that 2nd HD in my new pc, or do I need to store the files, format the 2nd HD and move them back to it? The old PC is having issues bogging down, so file transfer will be a hassle

I believe the old HD is formatted as FAT32. What I'm looking to do is move the 2nd HD from the old PC to the new one, then move the files from the 2nd HD to the primary on the new one. I figured this would be faster than using a transfer program since my old xp unit is having issues. I wasn't sure if the 32 bit/64 bit and FAT32/NTFS discrepancies would be a problem
