<Moved> CAN'T WAtch DVDs on my computer..

recently, well for a couple of months now, I've been having problems with DVDs on my computer. basically, when i insert the dvd-rom into the DVD-Drive E, it doesn't appear to recognise the cd. i've tried it with both audio cds and cd-roms and have found the computer recognises those two but will never recognise a dvd.(ive even put a dvd into drive D but it still didnt work!)

for example, just inserted a dvd-rom into the drive. went into MY computer>DVD Drive E but it kept saying "PLEASE INSERT A DISK INTO DRIVE E". next to the cursor however, a green cd appears and the tower appears to make a sound as if the disk is being loaded, but then stops as if it no longer is being laoded and therefore unable to wtch.

some people told me to go into device manager>uninstall dvd drive. i did that, restarted my computer but it still isnt working.

ive also troubleshooted the problem, but it says "we are unable to solve your problem". HA!HA !

i cant even rip dvds since they are never reecognised!!!:upset:
