Mouse speed not consistent when I play a game.

Whenever I go to play WoW, my mouse speed is much faster than when on firefox, itunes, etc. I've got a logitech mouse, and when I click on the settings option, I turn on the game detection, and I've tried setting it to both Setpoint implementation, and OS implementation, and neither changes it. Can anyone help?
