Hi,
My mouse right click seems to be disable:sigh:. Is it because my pc is infected with virus? I have scanned with AVG v8.5 ; Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.36 and also Ad-ware v8.04. Any suggestion is greatly appreacited!

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

What did the scans turn up that ran? or did it not find anything?

Go into control panel, mouse, under buttons tab, switch the buttons (left and right)
by checking the box.

Does it work now? the left click button on mouse when you left click on an icon or folder?

I did that, and basically the post switch left mouse click can be used as right click. But the the post switch right mouse click is not working ( ie I can't execute anything with the right mouse. I hv tried changing the mouse before and the same problem still persists. Scans shows no infection found. Could this be a hardward problem ( ie not the mouse hardware ) , more to motherboard etc etc..?

No it would be with the mouse I presume.

Lets say it is the motherboard, then the mouse wouldnt work at all.

My suggestion is: try another mouse.
