Mouse Problems beyond current discovery

When i move my mouse in circles, intentionally or unintentionally, the cursor jumps to a corner of the screen. I've tried the USB optical mouse that came with my computer package, and a regular optical mouse as well.
It is not a light reflection issue, ive tested it with all lights off on 3 different surfaces. I have cleaned both lenses on mouses as well, no results. Any downloads or updates i missed? I have service pack 2 if that makes any difference.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AND ANSWER FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT PLEASE I CANT TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!:upset:

Do you have it drivers installed?

Does it work well in every other function?

Its obviously not functioning correctly. How fast response have you set it to under Control Panel? Maybe putting that to half way may give you better results.

ya drivers are updated, mouse speed is halfway, everythings normal
