Mouse moved to start button and typed

Hi, I was installing an xbox wireless controller reciever for windows and had trouble finding the correct driver. Whilst trying to install the driver i clicked on the driver could not be installed message etc... and was looking at any further instructions when I dropped the controller and the mouse moved from the bottom right corner of the desktop to the start button and in the search box typed "google" all on its own it did it in an mechanical fashion by that i mean not human like all movement was quite linear.

I think the pc was infected so I have reformatted and restored an acronis backup to be sure.

My question is does anyone think its a known virus or a takeover or anything else.

I have never had any other weird going on at all before.
