hello

i have a msi kt3 ultra mobo. boots up, everything is fine, but my mobo will beep constantly, which i read the beep codes mean cpu is overheating (which its not obviously, i just booted!), and i get a msg on the screen that says cpu fan not running....but, it IS running. i see it, i even put my tongue on it to verify the fan is on.

lol. ;)

any ideas? sensor?

thx

im thinkin its alright...jsut kinda dis-concerning.

Well, if the fan's spinning, and the detection is saying it's not, either the fan is not sending the info or the MB is not receiving it. You could try plugging in another 3 wire fan into the CPU fan power and narrow it down to the MB or the fan.
