I am looking to get a new motherboard, I want something that wont be outdated right away, 775 socket. ddr2 or 3 doesnt matter to me. I dont Have to have sli or crossfire as I'm only using 1 card atm, but it wont hurt if it has it. I was looking at the Evga 780i and 790i boards, but they seem like overkill for just one card, I do want to run higher end ram and would like decent bios options. If you guys have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dave

I posted the links to Asus because I know them to be solid boards and Asus has good customer service.
I use 25 to 30 of them ,average, per month through my shop.
I use some Intel, Gigabyte and MSI boards for some economic builds.

i want to buy an Athlon x2 4850e cpu
and would like to use an ASUS main board but am not sure which will be compatable with the above cpu?
