Hello, New here but a friend recomended your site. I am having trouble with my desktop pc that I built and need some help. I run windows XP 32 bit OS,
Asus P5Q Turbo mobo, Intel E8400 processor, Zalman cpu cooler, Crucial ballistix ram DDR-2 800 (4 gigs), Evga 8400 graphics card, creative titanium sound card,
WD 300 GB Velociraptor HD. I also use 2 HP 22" monitors. I had a power outage at my house, which seemed to start my problem. When I power up my system, the monitors will not come on, they stay asleep. I thought my vid card had gone south. I have a spare so I installed it, no luck. Next, I have a spare mobo, Evga 780I, so I changed it out, not luck. I tried testing my monitors on my laptop using the same signal cables and they work fine.
Not really sure what else it could be. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
