Hi.

My monitor was working fine when I left my laptop, When I went to wake it up this morning nothing would happen.

I turned the power off and back on again anf the monitor still does not come on, this has happened the other day but after several tries of turning it off and on it eventually turned back on.
I have tried step one in this thread http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f108/black-screen-issues-and-troubleshooting-498132.html but was wondering if there is anythign else I should try before moving on to step 2?

· Windows Vista
· full retail version
· CPU - AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core QL-65 2.10
· Video Card - ATI Radeon HD 3200

· Power Supply - ? Delta Electronics AC/DC Adapter 230 Volts

nothing on the monitor at all??? try an external monitor and see if it works.

Just tried pulggin in my deskp top monitor, no success there

try pulling the ram and reinserting making sure they are securely seated.

Ok so I tried following step 2 but dont really know what computer components are, so I have this picture. I removed the 2 items and placed them back in. then Held the reset button for a minute and tried starting it with just the ac power.
