Hey, ive got a max budget of £200 for a new monitor and i want it to be 1920x1080. Not sure wether to have 22" or 24" and atm i am considering an ASUS VW246H. http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=zMRyN4KB5o5rSqKr
Does anyone have any experience with this monitor or does anyone have a monitor meeting these requirements that they would like to suggest :)
Thanks in advance guys :p

I just replaced my Samsung 2253BW (22" 1680x1050) with an Asus VH242H (23.6" 1920x1080) and it is an excellent monitor.

It's my second Asus monitor, the first was also a beauty, MK241H, a 24 incher with 1920x1200 resolution. They both have built in speakers, but I just ignore that, monitor speakers are kind of useless.

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Asus, though the Samsung was a great monitor, as well. Just wanted the higher resolution for movies. So, you almost can't go wrong with either monitor.

Samsung is always a good choice. I have never used an Asus but I hear a lot of good things about them. I have a 22" Acer that I'm pleased with.

Thanks guys i am now seriously considering the VW246H as my new monitor :)
Would it be best to use a DVI-D cable to connect my graphics card (ATi HD4870) to the monitor? or should i just use my VGA cable?

Use DVI. I see a considerable difference compared to VGA with better monitors.
