i have an alienware, and it's been running perfectly for just short of 2 years now (past warrenty).. all of a sudden the monitor starts losing signal within 5 minutes of start up and the keyboard and everything else far as i know locks up.
i cant get the computer to stay on long enough to get exact specs. but when i built/ordered it i got a standard power supply, (just above the average from what i can remember), a decent video card (i know its above average, wanted a good one), and and above average processor. the motherboard say nvidia sli ready, and foxconn on it. phoenix D686 bios .. cant see anything else lookin in the case
i read a post where i guy had basically the same problem and he turned off some fans and it started working better. i did the same and it really didnt change anything.
any help would be great before i start replacing all kinds of things til i find the right one.
