I've tried switching monitors, but the same problem occurs. I'm running it on 800x600. When I try to change it to 1024x728, the monitor blacks out, with the light next to the power button changing from yellow to orange (normally associated with 'no signal')

When I switch off then switch back on the monitor, I can see the display for a split second, then it blacks out again. Help?

System:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Computer:
Pentium 4 CPU 1.80GHz

First time on here so I'm not sure how things go about. I'm a noob :4-dontkno

have you taken the side off the computer and looked at the side of the power supply for the label
