I'm looking for a graphics card suitable for the MSI K7N2 ILSR (MS 6570G) motherboard, I used to have a MSI geforce fx5600 card installed which is 8x agp, but this was causing major Blue Screen problems with windows,

I have tested the system memory with memtest 86 and could not find any problems.

Ever since i went back to an old gainward geforce 4 MX440 card which is only 4x agp, the machine works fine with the geforce 4 installed and is stable.

any suggestions with regards to modern graphics cards that have been tried tested with this board, and have no problems?

Any X8 AGP card will work just fine in your mobo, however I suspect that your psu is not up to the task of powering anything other than the much older (and less power hungry) MX440. You should have at least a good quality 450W-500W or better psu. Currently you can still find the 7600GT/GS and 7900 vidcards in AGP form at newegg.com
