I have posted here about this same problem before, but I don't thnk that I was understood. My comp will not boot up until I have reset the CMOS. I have tried to replace the battery and I want to know if I can fix this or will I have to buy a new mobo.

By the way I am using:
Giga-Byte GA-K8VT890-9
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
512 MB Corsair Value PC3200

Check all of the jumpers on the motherboard and make sure the are set correctly. The settings will be in your motherboard manual. Let me know if this helps.
