Hello and God bless all.

I like to make a SATA raid0 stripe set for using it for video editing and in the same PC install my windowsXP and other applications in additional 7,200 rpm ide hard drive.

Its this possible to have this kind of configuration with SATA drives like with SCSI drives and IDE?

So if I get this staright you want to boot from the raid array or do you want to boot from the other drive.

It's no problem at all. You can configure the BIOS to boot from the drive desired. I have a RAID-0 array with two SATA drives in this machine, and I also have two IDE drives on the IDE channel for backups. Originally, I installed XP on the IDE drive, then GHOSTed it to the RAID array, so I was booting from the IDE originally.

Piece of cake.
