Okay, first of all I'm not sure if this is in the right place (if not feel free to move it somewhere more appropriate). Tonight i've started noticing a minor bug with my copy of windows media player 9 in that when you are playing a file unless you actually press the stop button it just keeps on playing even if you have exited the application (which is REALLY odd as it isn't showing up in my task manager in either the application or processes section once shut down).

I'm currently running windows Xp service pack 1 with all relevant updates. It's a fresh install as my computer crashed 5 days ago corrupting the vast majority of the harddrive prompting a format and reinstall fest (oh the fun  ).

So anyone got any ideas on how to fix? Not a major problem as i just have to remember to press stop before exiting the player but it still shouldn't be doing this.

Thanks in advance.
