Hey guys, im new to these forums and ive tried my hardest to figure out why this new update wont install so ima ask you guys and see if i can get some info. ok this is the new update i just got today on november 28th:
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. Im gettin error 800070002 and I looked it up in the microsoft support and help and that didnt do anything. So im stuck and really confused why this wont install. Im running Vista Home, 32bit. and I got all the new updates till this one. So if anyone has any info that would be great thanks.

i have the same problem, it tells you to stop windows update, delete some files and restart windows update and so i did but it still doesn't install, anyone know why.

Yeah man, im lost aswell if anyone has any info would be great!
Edit - I just installed the new updates that were put out on the 29th so there must be something wrong with service pack update.

Do you have norton antivirus. I might be able to help. What firewall is on Windows or your antivirus.

If you got to microsoft for help your in trouble. It might be firewall issue.

I installed Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 , then after that youll get.

i don't have any firewalls apart form windows firewall whihc shouldn'tbe doing anything. but just now it actually installed, microsoft must have messed suomething up

Good I found it would install after I turned Norton firewall off and windows firewall on. Then they installed.
