Microsoft Outlook 2003 Calender corruption

I had a corrupted file in diary in Outlook 2003 which prevented my calender opening - repair tool achieved nothing. I reloaded the software calender now opens fine but when I enter a new diary entry at any time or date it immediaty moves to today's tiem and date. Equally when I sync with my PDA it enters 100's of appointments at todays time and date - very tiresome to delete! Any help greatly appreciated
