I'm guessing it's either the mic or the sound card that is picking up things it shouldn't be. If I'm going to record myself singing, I'll put the background music on headphones but somehow it gets picked up and recorded into the same track as the vocals. Another day I was having an audio conversation on MSN and played a music file while talking. The person on the other side could hear what was output through my headphones. How do I fix this?

For recording devices I have Wave Mapper or Realtek HD Audio input (same as the default recording device) I've tried both of them and still get "audio leakage" which the program claims is impossible because they "store each track as a separate digital file". I'll go check out the site.
