I am getting messages when I restart my computer.

It says: An exception OE has occurred at 0028:c0070259 in VxD VNETBIos (01) + 000009B1. This was called from 0028:C024c5D5 in VxD VMM (13) + 000005D5. It may be possible to continue normally. *Press any key to attempt to continue. *Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart your computer. You will lose any unsaved information in all applications. Press any key to continue.

This is the message only pressing any key does not work nor does CTRL+ALT+DEL work.

We just installed the Fast Access DSL modum and a hub to our port for more port accesses.

Please let me know what this is and how to fix it.

Is this a re-occuring error?

What manufacturer is the modem and hub? Did you have a pre-existing set-up on your syste? If not properly uninstalled, it could be causing conflicts. Check your device manager and view your new hardware, checking for conflicts.

The more info provided, the more help you can receive.

Thank you for your reply.

We have the BellSouth DSL Fast Access Modem. I didn't have this problem before we got the modem or hub. I have since talked with the computer manager at our company and he suggested that I switch the hub and modem in the ports. I did this and the messages so far have stopped. He suggested that if the modem was originally hooked into the other port that may have caused the problem. We didn't have anything but straight dial up internet service before with Bell South. The manufactuer of the hub is Belkin that I bought at Radio Shack. The modem has several different things on it such as: Efficient Networks, Inc.; Alcatel; and Speed Stream. If you have anymore information please post. I do appreciate any and all information in case this comes up again. I guess time will tell if it pops up again.
