Okay, I've been having trouble with some installation files. Here's the scenario : I'm uninstalling Quicktime and iTunes so I can properly update iTunes.

However, a box pops up and prompts me to find the correct .msi file for the corresponding program to continue uninstalling. I most likely don't have it, since it was lodged into the temporary files folder, and it was probably wiped out by Disk Cleanup/other disk cleaning programs.

Any help there?

Also: I've ran System Restore a couple of times in the attempts to fix this problem, but after I've checked in "Undo my previous restore" and it restores, the welcome splash screen comes up, and this box pops up.

Any help there? My apologies if I put this thread in the wrong place, I'm new.

Hi Interesting, welcome to TSF..

please accept our apologies for the delay in responding to your thread.

If you still require assistance on this matter, please try using the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool which you can download here. Run it and remove any entries you see for iTunes and/or Quicktime and it will delete any installer entries from your registry and that should help with the problem.

Hope that helps :)
