Loading win 10 on a testbed pc . . once the installation starts, after a minute or so, it stops with error that " a Driver for a Media device is not found . . " and will not let me proceed with the installation . .

Any idea what is going on?

Have you verified that the download of the Technical Preview is valid?

For Windows 10 Technical Preview x64

It's a Gigabyte MA78GPM-DS2H with onboard video . . but it does have a video capture card . . I'll rip that out!

Also, it currently has two drives . . one with win7 and one with win 8 . . I was going to install over the win 8 but maybe I should wipe the drive first?

Looks like the video capture card was the culprit . . removed it and it is now installing!
