I installed dsl on my computer about 3 weeks ago and keep
getting a windows error when I try to log on. Here is the error.


File Name Sisnic (01) 00001c56
Error :OE: 0028:c29be7b6

I've tried reinstalling Windows ME but that did not work either.

Have you tried lookin for the latest driver for your nic.

Is this nic built into the motherboard or is it a separate card?

Are you talking about logging on to your computer or logging on to the internet...

If you are talking about the internet do the following.

Go into device manager and look under network adaptors.

this will show your nic otherwise called a network interface card or ethernet card.

Write down what is in the device manager under network adapters then post it here.

And we'll take it from there....

Hey Speedo

I updated my driver for my nic and everthing seem's
to be working. Thanks for the help. I also put you in
my buddy list just in case I need some more help. I'm sure this is
not last you will here from me lol
