Matrox's first completely new GPU in over three years is here, and while it certainly has enough horsepower to compete with Nvidia and ATI, it doesn't blow away the competition in terms of pure speed. Surround gaming on 3 screens! I wish I had 3 monitors. Also, it is nice to see a manufacturer start to move away from the "fps is all that matters" mentality and work towards image quality (ie 16X FAA and anisotropic filtering). I know that in first person shooters I do not care at all about image quality. Speed is what matters. I know if I saw someone admiring the beautifully rendered surroundings i'd take a shot! But for others games image quality takes a larger role.
