OS: WinXP

I have my OS installed on a Western Digital HD (FAT32), and a slave Seagate set as (D:) formatted in NTSF. Is it possible to just copy all the files from the master drive to slave, change the pins, then reboot with D: as the new master?

Thanks in advance

I read in another post that you can clone your drive then expand the partition. Would this allow for your OS to be copied to the new drive without having to reinstall?
