You need to find the correct disk 1. If you have the correct CD in the drive it will autoboot and install off the CD.

Is it booting off of the cdrom of the hard drive with nothing on it..
What is the exact error message, and just to be safe double check in bios that CDROM is set to boot before "C"

It says, Invalid system disk Replace the disk, and then press any
key. But in the middle of the screen it says,
PCI device Listing....
Bus No. Device No. Func No. Vendor ID Device ID Device Class IRQ
How do I make it boot to C: like you said.

Its a ASUS MOTHERBOARD, And I tried using the ASUS CD that
came with the motherboard, And it did not work...

It appears like its skiping looking for CDs in the CDrom, go into your bios and set the boot order making cdrom boot before your C drive.

When your system first boots up it should say Press whatever key now to enter bios or some such thing.

Common Keys: F1, F10, Del, Alt F1

I'm not positive all bios's address it a different way and have it in different places. But basically your looking for something that says something along the lines of "Boot Order" and it will have A,C,CD-ROM or some such variant of that, @ the very least it should say A,C now hopefully you'll have the choice to add a cdrom... if you find the place to change it but CDROM is not given as a choice post back and let me know, in that case you'll need to use the Linux bootdisk that came with the program (If you ftp-ed the ISO let me know and I'll see if I can find a install bootdisk around)

Try changing to ATAPI on removable and see if that does anything... (to test it, just put in CDrom1 and reboot see if you get the same message or not)

Here I is......................:D

OK if you haven't figured it out yet here is the scoop.............

Go into the bios to the Boot section.

To the right of Removable Device highlight whatever is there hit enter and set it to disabled.

Move down to IDE Hard Drive and do the same thing.

Move down to ATAPI CD-ROM and highlight it then hit enter choose CD-Rom or Atapi Device.

Hit Esc.

Move to exit on top click enter and yes to save.

Insert the CD and reboot.

I have a new problem, I installed CD 1 and at the end it said remove bootable media. What are they talking about. The CD or
the new boot floppy you had to make. Well I took out the CD
cuz the tray came out. Then when it was booting, it said
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
