Ok, this is probably gonna sound crazy, but you guys are the only ones I know who might be able to help...

A very good friend of mine has a Dell laptop that he's had for atleast 2 yrs. He recently started dating this girl and shortly after, realized she was slightly psycho (yes this is relavent to the problem, i swear). Well, he broke up with her, but it was a little too late. She had some how managed to get into his computer and change his anitial password. It's set-up to where it wont boot, do nothing, until you put in the password. Is there any possible way to by-pass this???

Ok, that is totally understandable. I just thought I would try and help. Sounds like he's probably just gonna have to call Dell.
