Hey i use Macromedia Fireworks to do my image editing, i use it mainly for spoofy edits onto pictures and i was wondering who else has/does use it? and what did you think, what others are there?

I never really got into Fireworks. I use Photoshop only because of its good compatibility with the rest of Adobe Creative Suite. Yay monopolized proprietary software.

Photoshop can do prettymuch anykind of 2D image editing that you'd need.

It gets the job done, as it should for the price tag. If you're happy with Fireworks, stick with it. If you want to try out new things, give Photoshop a try. If you want to look into some shareware, I've also heard good things about the GIMP.
