I recently purchased a Macbook with Os x. I have noticed each time.. we are on the internet... it works for about 10 minutes and then stops.. and then works again later after a certain time. I have tried using Mozilla but no luck.. Any ideas??

How are you connecting to the internet? Where are you at? Are there other computers connecting too?

Sorry yes there are other 3 other laptops on the network which run windows.. which seem to be running fine.. its only the macbook thats seems to be having intermittent connection. Could it be the router? But wouldnt that mean the other laptops would be having trouble as well?

I'd also like to add I'm using a 802.11g wireless router..

What router is it, brand and model number? Can you go in it and tell it to use only 802.11g? Many will come setup to connect b as well. Also, if you plug it in a wired port and turn the wireless off, how is it speed wise on the web?

Its a trendnet.. router. I'm pretty sure the router is the problem.. cause it works fine at other networks. Can anyone reccomend a good router?

Most are good. I use Netgear, my brother a Link-sys, and a friend a D-link.
