Building a mac from scratch with all parts from amazon or tigerdirect and looking for some feedback. Any build within a couple of years old is fine, mac mini even is sufficient. Anyone do this ?

There's no such thing as building a Mac computer, there's only hackintosh options which is technically illegal.

IMO, OK for personal use. I'm aware of the fact that the OS is technically just rented from Apple. With all the criticism of MS, at least their E.U.L.A doesn't try to claim that.

But, yes I agree. For personal use, there really isn't any harm.
