I'm getting real annoyed at this thing. That process has been on my nerves for a good year now.

I know full well it's from Norton Internet Security and it's supposed to be for liveupdate, etc etc. I've turned automatic live update off, but it keeps coming back!

Now it doesn't start at anytime, no no. It starts when I play my games. I dunno why. That and lucallbackproxy.exe or whatever you call it.

It takes up 100% CPU and 100% RAM! Honestly, how can something like that clog up 3GB of RAM? But whatever.

Is there a way to get rid of this thing or stop it from appearing so I can move on with my life?

can't you just uninstall Norton and throw it away? (please excuse me if i sound less than thrilled about Norton - It was good back in the days of DOS 6.2!)
