Hi Luckylaw,

First unplug it and then remove the battery and hard disk (battery may be enough).
Put all back and try to turn it on.
There is a chance that there was a power peak and there may be something more serious, but hope this helps you

I tried that and it did not work. Is there anything else I can try.
